Where Venus was setting
The Venus DSC line runs through the places where Venus was sinking below the western horizon at the moment you were born. In a chart cast for any of them, Venus sits exactly on the Descendant, the cusp of the 7th house of marriage, partnership and one-to-one relationships. On the map it is a dashed curve, running near your Sun DSC line, the line where the Sun was setting, because Venus never strays more than about 47° from the Sun.
