How the ranking decides
Every city on the list is checked against your astrocartography lines: where each planet was rising, setting, overhead or underfoot at your birth. A line near a city adds to the theme it is traditionally linked with and subtracts from the themes it challenges. A Venus line close to Lisbon lifts love and creativity there; a Saturn line near the same place would weigh on peace and ease.
Distance does most of the work. Within 250 km a line counts as strong, to 600 km as moderate and to 1,000 km as mild, and its weight fades smoothly across those bands. Paran latitudes, where two of your planets were angular at the same moment, add a smaller amount to every city within about 160 km of that latitude. The strongest influence at a city counts in full, the next ones progressively less. That stops a place from winning just because many lines happen to crowd past it, which is common near the poles, so cities inside the polar circles are left out of the ranking. The list also shows one city per area: a place within 250 km of a higher-ranked one is skipped, and where a bigger city nearby scores almost as well, it stands in for its smaller neighbour.

Reading your results
Each city in the list shows its two strongest reasons and the main thing to watch. The label on the right sums it up: strong support, support or mixed. Mixed means real help and a real challenge sit side by side, which many astrologers consider more interesting than a place with nothing going on.
Tap a result to fly the map there and open the full reading: every line nearby with its distance and side, how the place leans for all six themes, the parans on that latitude, and your chart relocated to it, with the rising sign and any planets that become angular. Using it well
Start with a theme that matches a real decision, not every theme at once. Keep the region to places you would actually consider, then compare two or three finalists in the Place tab. If the results surprise you, check the birth time first: the whole map shifts east or west with it. And keep the rest of life in view. Work, family, climate and cost of living matter more than any line, and many astrologers suggest visiting a place before reading too much into it.
